
Donna Flagg spent 15 years in sales, management and training before
becoming a consultant specializing in organizational development and its
relationship to business results. Her management career began in sales at
CHANEL, and before branching out on her own to launch Krysalis, she
spearheaded a new training function within the Investment Banking Division at
Goldman Sachs.
After earning a BA from Rutgers University and gaining experience on the
front lines of Corporate America, Donna went on to attend New York University’s
Graduate School of Education where she obtained a Masters Degree in
Organizational Development and Human Resource Management, and a post graduate
degree in Business Education. She has also been a visiting instructor and
speaker at New York University through Delta Pi Epsilon, a national honorary
professional graduate society in business education and training. In addition,
she speaks at various conferences including those conducted by The Business
Leadership Network and The Conference Board, where she was also on the advisory
committee for the Enterprise Learning Strategies Conference. In 2005, Donna was
invited to be a host at the Liz Claiborne Leadership Offsite to discuss branding
during their “Progressive Dinner” event.
Donna is currently a blogger on
ExpertBusinessSource.com for Reed Business Interactive and frequently
quoted in the press for her
workplace expertise. She has appeared on
The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch as well as on
Life’s Work with Lisa Belkin and
The Joan Hamburg Show on WOR Radio.
In addition, Donna was the back page columnist for Empire Magazine in 2004.
Joyce Avalon has been helping companies succeed for the past 25 years

multimillion dollar enterprises.

increased sales, stronger infrastructure and clearer branding, she is

Patty Lee-Renert brings 8 years of human resource experience to bear on her role at The Krysalis Group. Before joining the team Patty worked in training at Goldman Sachs where she designed and developed training materials and communications. While there, she was also involved in projects such as mentoring, performance review processes and HRIS headcount management. Prior to that, she was employed by Cushman & Wakefield as a Human Resource Information Specialist and the American Red Cross as a Case Worker.
Patty applies her design talent to the creation of all customized training
materials to ensure programs capture multiple learning modalities and create a
complete learning experience.
She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Cornell University.
Seth Appel worked in the not-for-profit arena for 15 years before
joining Krysalis. During most of that time he served as the Executive
Director of Innovative Community, an arts education organization that provides
community-based and issue-oriented theater in active learning forums for grammar
school youths. In addition to Seth's active role in setting direction for
the organization, planning strategy and implementing marketing initiatives, he
also produced most of the educational programming and a television series on job
readiness. Prior to that, Seth helped procure contracts for people with
disabilities and also worked in the job development division at FEGS (Federation
Employment and Guidance Service). He holds an undergraduate degree in
business.
